Get Off The Concrete is an annual summer gathering for men already involved in men’s work. Hosted by Essentially Men Education Trust each February it is a four-day land based event held at a remote coastal site North of Auckland.

Secondary school aged boys and young men under 18yo are welcome to attend if accompanied by a family member or caregiver.

This is not a gathering for men who are new to men’s work. A prerequisite is to have attended the Men Being Real weekend workshop or some similar event that promotes trust and connection between men in a structured manner.
